BIM Story: Angela

Plateaus can happen to the best of us, even if you have a regular fitness routine. Read our client Angela’s story and find out how she worked with BIM to overcome her plateau and push herself to new heights.

ANGELA

“When I started at Balance In Motion, I was looking for variety in my workouts so I could stay motivated. I’ve done private sessions at other gyms, but I tend to get bored of the same program. At BIM, I committed to one semi private and two group classes per week because I wanted to measure my potential results.

Before I came to BIM, I had a regular fitness routine, but I wasn’t seeing improvement in my strength or body composition. I was simply staying the same. I sat down with Andrea and she came up with programs that were challenging and interesting enough to overcome a flat line in my fitness.

Incorporating semi-privates into my routine was one of the best decisions I could have made. That’s where I saw significant improvement. I love the group setting because it takes the pressure off to have all that attention one-on-one. Plus, I enjoy seeing other people from all ages working towards their own goals. It’s a very encouraging environment!

Every instructor has motivated me and believed I can achieve more than I ever thought I could. They push me just a little bit harder than my mind told me I could, and that made all the difference in feeling stronger and looking leaner. I approach many other areas in my life with greater confidence, knowing what I can achieve if I put my mind (and time) to it.

There is no quick solution to looking and feeling our best, even though we all wish there was. The best thing is to find a place where the staff can help equip you with what you personally need to attain your specific goals – and motivate you to keep coming back.

BIM has all of that. It has positive and encouraging trainers, and it’s filled with members that are just like you and me. Even on the days I feel tired or unmotivated, I leave feeling 10x better. No regrets! Thank you to the entire BIM team.”
