BIM’s mission is to help people Go Beyond Better. This means not only returning to a pre-injury lifestyle but also pursuing new health goals previously deemed impossible. To achieve this, BIM addresses three common misconceptions:
- A fear of fitness (thanks to fitness is portrayed in the media).
- A feeling that pain was just part of the game.
- A belief that some goals are simply impossible to reach.

Andrea Lawson
Hello and welcome!
I’m Andrea Lawson, the founder of Balance In Motion (BIM). I started BIM with a vision: to create a training facility where people could rehabilitate from injuries, improve their performance, and achieve their health and fitness goals without the fear of reinjury. My goal was to bridge the gap between recovery and optimal body function, with the best coaching staff and resources available.
I wanted everyone who stepped foot in BIM to feel comfortable and productive, regardless of:
– The type of injury they were recovering from
– Their stage in the fitness journey
– Their age
At BIM, we apply the principles of Kinesiology to strength and conditioning training to help you reach (and surpass!) your goals.
It’s a place where:
– Your movement is never compromised.
– Injuries and goals are understood.
– Intimidation is unheard of.
– Fun (and a little weirdness) are always welcome.
Our mission statement, “Go Beyond Better,” is also my personal mission for everyone who enters my life. I have witnessed time and again how getting stronger not only unlocks potential but also instills unmatched confidence.
Our goal, shared by my dedicated staff, is to help you reach your true potential. We want you to move with purpose, strength, and power by removing fear from the equation. All our coaching staff are movement specialists who hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. This ensures we never put fitness on top of dysfunction. We correct imbalances before building a program tailored to your fitness goals.
We love using our skills and expertise to help those struggling with injuries or limitations that hinder their work, exercise, or athletic potential. Self-doubt often holds us back, but my team and I see your strengths and work with you to build them up, giving you unbeatable confidence.

Approach
Most people think their workout needs to be super intense in order to be effective. We reject that idea, because there’s so much more to getting fit and healthy than pushing yourself too hard with no focus or direction.
All our coaches are kinesiologists, so our approach is centered around what YOUR particular body needs based on science and the mechanics of human movement.
Come on in for a FREE assessment. Tell us your goals and we’ll identify any movement limitations you may have.
We then design a tailored program just for YOU that improves your mobility, corrects any imbalances, increases your strength, builds your endurance and tones your muscles. We also make sure you build a strong frame to prevent injury.
Whatever your health or fitness goal, we’re ALWAYS going to make sure you’re moving the right way so we can address and avoid any injuries or imbalances.
